My Fake News Postcard

In manaiakalani we made fake news postcards using canva. Here is mine. My Postcard. One thing that i found hard was finding something to do it about.Something that i found easy is getting my face on it.

 

Elvis Presley 2.0

This week we made characters for games we are making and mines name is Elvis 2.0. The thing that I found the easiest was getting it onto my blog and writing this. The hardest part was probably getting it all together. What i'm going to do is get it done quicker. Here are his stats.

In manaiakalani we were making profiles for our blogs. The thing that I thought was the easiest part  was making it into a gif. The hardest part was animating it and duplicating all of the slides. I liked seeing it done and the explosion. Next time i want to try and get sound in the animation.

 

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

At school we are writing our quick writes about success. In the weekend I succeeded in motocross. On sunday we went to the local motocross track for the 2nd race of the series that they hold.we had three races each I am in junior bs.

The track was really muddy and slippery I was so excited and I couldn't stop yelling I'm going to win it's slippery.The reason I couldn't stop yelling I'm going to win its slippery because it was because it had been raining the day before and because I'm good at riding in the mud and wet.

Being good at  riding in the  muddy and slippery paid off because I came 3rd in my first race first in my second race( I was really proud of  that race) but in my last race I didn't go so well  I crashed a couple of times took some dumb lines and came about fifth. I think this would because I had used all my energy to win the race before.  I think I won the second race Because I chose some better lines through the mud than the other fast guys which I had seen during the practice day last weekend. Another reason I think I one because I was always putting the throttle to it's very limits and was determined not to let the people  behind me past. When I  came over the last jump towards the finish line. I felt like I was about to fall off my bike with pain and because I was so tired. I was happy that my practice and hard work riding in the mud paid off in a win.

It was fun out the front of the Pack because you don't get obliviated with hard dirt from any of the bikes in front of you. all together I had a fun day doing whips, no footers off the jumps and roosting the people behind me with dirt.I have a one and a half hour cross-country race coming up next weekend which I hope to win in the series.  

I have included 2 videos, one with me getting the "hole shot" at the start of the race I won, and the second one is where I past the race leader with one lap to go to take the win.

I ruled New Zealand

On the 31st of July I ruled New Zealand(for about 30 seconds). On the 30th of July my family and I took a plane from rotorua to wellington for Nathan Guys last speech in parliament. We got into parliament then sat in a room with big TVs in it. Next we got called into the debating chamber. Nathan had a funny speech all about the people he had meet the places he had gone when he was in parliament. 

The next day we went to weta workshop they make stuff for movies. Later we went back to parliament for a tour.We went to the debating chamber  where they yell at eachother(and I thought that politicians were nice).The tour lead us all around the beehive to the cabinet room where they make all the laws and stuff(I sat in Jacinda Ardern's chair😯). The last place we went to was where the covid updates were made and I was Dr Ashley Bloomfield. Now i'm back at school writing this blog post to you guys it was the best few days of my life🤯.
